Bow Tie Pasta with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce

Enjoy this delicious pasta with your family tonight!  Quick and easy to make with bold flavors!

Bow Tie Pasta with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce

Olive Oil
3 Cloves Garlic
1/4 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1/3 C Sun Dried Tomatoes, drained and chopped
1/2 C Chopped Jarred Roasted Red Peppers
1 Can Diced Tomatoes
1 tsp. Sugar
Salt and Pepper to taste
1/2 C Fresh Basil Leaves Chopped
1 Box Bow Tie Pasta

Shaved Parmesan Cheese 
Chopped Roasted Chicken 

Heat Oil in a skillet over medium heat.  Stir in garlic, red pepper flakes, sun dried tomatoes, and roasted red peppers and cook until you can smell the garlic- a couple minutes.  Add the can of tomatoes, sugar, and salt and pepper.  Bring to a boil and then reduce to simmer.  Allow to cook and thicken for about 10 minutes. Add basil leaves and chopped chicken (I like to use a store roasted chicken, easy and delicious in this) if you like.  Pour over cooked and prepared Bow Tie Pasta.  Add Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
