Funtstic Friday #247

It rained all day Saturday,
putting us in the mood for a chili and cornbread dinner.
Plus some sliced apples with caramel dip.
The stores are bringing in more apple varieties,
perfect for Fall dishes.

Apple Overnight French Toast Bake with a fork.

Like Jen's apple over night french toast
Love how you prepare it the night before and
it's ready to throw in the oven the next morning.

Or make our apple cinnamon pancakes.
Prepare the dry mix the night before for quick batter prep in the morning.

Funtstic Friday #246

Pulling out the Halloween décor yet?
I'm not quite there but,
I do have my eye out for fun Halloween treats.

7 candy treats made up to look like bats, on a butcher block cutting board, a plate of cookies in the upper right, a bowl of candy eyes in the upper left

 Like Anne's cute bat candy.
And so easy to make.

It reminds me of our Chocolate Bat Cookies.
What fun goolish treats have you made for your little goblins?
I'd love to get some more ideas!

Carrie has a whole spooky dinner menu that you can find {here}

Let's get rolling with this week's Funtastic Friday!
Especially looking forward for all your ideas for Fall and Halloween.

Funtstic Friday #245

There were so many great party links last week,
so hard to decide on  our host pick for tonight's party.

Hash brown sandwich with bacon and avocado
But...
Kari Lyn's breakfast sandwich was such an innovative twist on your typical breakfast sandwich,
that it won the spot this week.
And her way to crisp up the hash browns is genius!

If you're looking for a breakfast dish
that has that fun "wow" factor,
check out Carrie's Tye Dye Waffles.
Your kids will love these!

Let's get right to this week's party of DIY, recipes, Fall decor and more!

Funtstic Friday #244

Fall is in the air.
Waiting for those crisp, cool days and the leaves to change color.
We might have to wait a little longer here in west Texas,
but I'm staring to get that itch to bring some signs of Fall into our home.

A must for Autumn are pumpkins.
How about a vintage, shabby chic burlap pumpkin?
Amber has the simple steps to transform this dollar store pumpkin with chalk paint
into an inspirational décor piece. Love it!

You can even use chalk paint directly on real mini pumpkins
to go for a neutral chic look.
Not sure how I'm going to incorporate pumpkins into our Fall décor this year,
but you can bet you'll spy a few at our home.

Can't wait to see all your Fall inspired décor and recipes at this week's
Funtastic Friday!
