Funtastic Friday #304

Hope you have a hauntingly good Halloween!

We're going to be making caramel apples, carving pumpkins and watching some Alfred Hitchcock.

We'll also be having our traditional dinner of chili and pigs in a blanket.

Do you have any traditional foods on Halloween?
or do you make a special dinner with creepy foods?
We've got our eyes on Sarah's  monsterously cute treats.

Carrie has more ideas for fun Halloween food {here}
Plus click these links to get the 411 on making

It's time for Funtastic Friday!
Looking forward to all your links,
especially for some last minute Halloween inspiration
and Thanksgiving.

Here we go...

Funtastic Friday #303

This week was a little stressful.

Looking forward to the days when things can get back to normal!

A change of season and a little crafting always helps me de-stress.

Lisa has a cute and simple pumpkin craft that I love,

because the supplies can be found easily around the house and

this is a craft the kids could get involved in too.

Kids would love to draw a lack-o-lantern face on those orange painted cans!

Here's another fun craft for the kids,

Put on Coco or The Book of Life,

and bring on some churros and you have a whole activity!

Especially if you're not trick-or-treating this year,

a little crafting, movie and treats is the ticket!

It's that time again,

another week of Funtastic Friday!

Here we go...

Fun in the Sun Gift Bag

Funtasitc Friday #302

 Hey, guys and gals...

Hope you had a great week.

We're on a Fall break, which is new for us out here

and it just got extended another week because of Covid.

Not complaining, I don't mind things slowing down when the kids are on vacation.

And no Zoom!

What a crazy year though!

We're still on Zoom school and we'll be glad when kids can get back to class,

although that keeps getting pushed back too.

In the meantime, trying to have some things stay normal

like decorating for Halloween!

I'm really loving Stacy's neutral Halloween mantel.

She even made her Hocus Pocus sign and gives you the 411 on making your own.

We've got more mantel ideas {here}

With links to make your own Spooky banner and printable jar labels in that post.

Funtastic Friday is in transition

so bear with us as we work out the kinks with Inlinkz

so you can link your posts.

Stay with us,

we should have everything back to normal next week!

But let's get to this week's party!

Link up fast!

Funtastic Friday #301

 Loving Fall this year!

And the fact that people are getting out to enjoy the colorful leaves,

pumpkin patches (where available)

and even planning drive by trick-or-treating for the little ones.

That's why Beth's bugs and kisses caught my eye.
She even has a printable treat bag topper!
This would be fun to hand out at a drive by trick-or-treat event,
to your neighbors, friends, drop off a treat to your teachers, etc.
Do something fun for those little ones so they don't miss out on Halloween.

You could bag up some of our Monster Munch to had out too!
and find other treat ideas {here}

Or make some of our Day of the Dead cupcakes to share.

It's that time again,
Funtastic Friday is here!
Looking for all your Halloween ideas this week....
let's get the party started!

Funstastic Friday #300

Today I got into the Halloween spirt

and picked up some things at the dollar store for decor.

I'll be putting up Halloween next week (fingers crossed).

I'm keeping an eye out for fun Fall/Halloween fireplace mantle decor and food ideas.

Ann's got the 411 on making these cute white chocolate pumpkins
for cupcake toppers.

Check out how to make our bat cookies with a chocolate cake mix, candy eyes and store bought chocolate covered shortbread cookies.
You can find more Halloween and Fall treats {here}

We wanted to give a shout out to Sherry who started Funtastic Friday,
but sadly has to leave us. We wish her all the best!
We'll still be sharing all your tips and tricks for recipes, DIY, decor and more each week on Funtastic Friday! Going live every Thursday night.
If you'd like to join us as a party host,

Let's get the party started!

Happy October
It's a monumental week friends.
