Funtastic Friday #265

For some of us,
it's the long days of winter, burr.

Kim and Cassie have just the perfect comfort food
for those cold winter days with their
poppy seed chicken casserole.
I'm going to try this recipe out this week ;)

A family favorite around here is our Creamy Chicken Enchiladas.
Now I'm getting hungry!

It's time to start to get ready for Valentines day! <3
You can find our tradition of homemade cards {here}

Funtastic Friday #264

I always get the urge to clean out and organize in January.
Luckily I have some of my college girls still in town for a few days to help ;)
You can find all our organizing tips {here}

linen half apron pattern

I'm an apron wearer,
when cooking big messy meals,
when crafting and sometimes for cleaning.
 Joy's half apron tutorial has the simple directions for sewing your own.
Love that she used linen fabric and big pockets in the front.

I've got all my aprons ready,,
hanging in the pantry.
This apron hook was a DIY project awhile back-so handy and cute.
You can make your own {here}

Now it's time for another week of Funtastic Friday!

Funtstic Friday #262

How has 2020 started out for you?
We has a high school showcase soccer tournament we drove out to Dallas for on Jan1.
The girls did awesome! So pumped for this season!
Soccer will take up a lot of our time this winter.
But if you have "littles" at home and are looking for a fun craft activity,
you can't go wrong with play dough for hours of fun!

Funtstic Friday #261

Welcome 2020!
I can already tell this will be a good year!
With the chilly weather,
it's time for soup!
 Potato and Corn Chowder with bacon in blue bowl.
Lois has the recipe for Bacon Corn chowder that looks delish!

Or try our Creamy Ham and Potato.
You can find all our soup recipes {here}.
Grab a bowl and consider something you want to
 do, learn, change, travel to, accomplish.....
 for the new year.
One of my friends recently shared this on FB.
"Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction
ends up being the biggest step of your life.
Tip toe if you must,
but take the step."
Big resolutions never work for me.
So I'm just going to try one small step each week or month,
either physically, intellectually, social or spiritual
to grow as an individual this year.
What are your goals?
