Summer Booklist

 It's sweet summertime!

And time to get a good book to read on vacation,

or in town to break up the daily grind.

We've asked the "readers" in our family to give us a few of their favorites.

Funtastic Friday #338

 Welcome back to Funtastic Friday!

Summer is the time for a little R&R and a good book!

What do you have on your summer reading list?

I loved getting my kids involved in summer book clubs.

A little motivation to read with a prize at the end.

 Gotta have a fun bookmark for all your summer reads

like Julie's felt cactus or our printable Harry Potter bookmarks.

You can find our booklist with some of our favorites for teens & tweens {here} and {here}

plus some for young adults and young at heart {here}

Be on the look out for a new post on summer reads in the upcoming week!

Let's get on with Funtastic Friday!

Funtastic Friday #337

 It's time for some summer fun in the backyard!

We've been pulling weeds and trimming bushes.

Setting up hammocks, volleyball nets and cleaning out the pool.

It's always fun to have a few extra games on hand for the kids & teens.

Julie has the 411 on making these denim and floral bean bags,

plus a cute draw string bag to hold them.

Great for corn hole, knocking down stacked cans, tag, etc.

We've got the instructions to make your own Super Size Jenga

A size up from the regular game. A good size to transport around.

The kids have loved playing the game

 and littles love to just build things with the pieces.

 Welcome back to another week of Funtastic Friday!

What do you have planned for summer?

One of our kids recently got engaged! And now we have a wedding to plan!

Loving all the patriotic ideas from last week's party.

Melissa's chocolate dipped flag pretzels are so fun!

Got to make these for the 4th!

We put out our America board over Memorial Weekend.

Now officially ready for summer festivities!

Let's get right to all your patriotic idea link ups!

Funtastic Friday #335

 Hope you had a fun and relaxing Memorial Weekend!

So looking forward to summer.

It seems like all the kids are out of school except our district!

A couple more weeks to go and we're on the countdown!

Summer means everything patriotic--which I love!

Cindy has the recipe for these patriotic whoopie pies

that I'm sure will be a win at our house - yumo!

You can find more patriotic treats from our round up {here} and party ideas {here}

Get ready for summer grilling and cooking with our patriotic apron
An easy project...
just add some ruffles to a store bought denim apron!

Looking forward to all your summer time ideas
on this week's Funtastic Friday!
