Funtastic Friday #391

 Happy 4th of July weekend!

We may have a lot of turmoil in this country at the moment,

but the USA is still the best country.

Grateful for our republic, the freedoms we enjoy,

standard of living and the goodness in people.

Celebrate the US of A on Monday!
Beth has a quick upcycled banner you can make with old jeans!
Hang one up by your food table at your 4th festivities.

If you need a serving bowl for the 4th,
just take a dollar store plastic bowl and jazz it up with patriotic vinyl or stickers.

Funtastic Friday #390

Welcome to another week of Funtastic Friday!

We're always looking for ideas to

bring in some fun for the kids in the summer.

We're loving Leslie's idea
of using muffin tins to hold snacks and lunches.
Kids are really going to get into helping prepare their food
by filling each cup.
A great way to motivate them to eat healthy too.

Funtastic Friday #389

 In the heat of summer

cool drinks are a must!

Arlene has the recipe for hibiscus lemonade
which sounds so refreshing on a hot day.

Funtastic Friday #388

 Summer is in full swing!

We just finished celebrating our grads

and now for some rest and relaxation!

It's also a good time to try out new recipes.

We've had some yummy fruit bars at recent parties so

Crystal's cherry pie crumb bar recipe really caught my eye.

Looks delish!

This would be great on a summer night, for the 4th or your next get together.

Try out our Red, White and Blueberry Cobbler too!

Let's kick things into gear with this week's link party!

Funtastic Friday #387

 Sweet Summertime!

School is out and time to relax a little

and play!

I'm always looking a few for activities
to fill some of the down time in summer,
so kids won't get bord.
Swimming, movies, playdates and arts 'n crafts are all in the mix.
Sarah's recipe for making crystals is cool and a fun summer experiment.
