shrimp, tomatoes, cucumber and avocado--mmm!

This week I've been into getting new breakfast ideas.

Lois' little zucchini puffs are great for a grab and go breakfast.

This would be a great summer night recipe served with a big salad too.

We're in the home stretch for school to be out,

just 2 more weeks!

My daughter has even started a little sugar cookie business.

Saguaros have a place in my heart, 

so these cuties caught my eye.

I'm thinking these would be great for a graduation party too....

Funtastic Friday #226

The past few days have been hectic!
It's time to unwind for the weekend.
First on our list is to see the new Avengers movie,
 then get caught up around the house,
see the sights around town (high school project),
and throw in a soccer game.
Of course, can't wait to see
 what you've got for us at this week's Funtastic Friday!

But first....

I'm in love with Kipi's tree slice hairpin tables!
So stylish, a rustic modern--boho chic.

This would be perfect for my daughter's apartment and so easy to put together. 

You don't even have to cut down a tree ;)

Large wood slices can be found all over the web. 

Not a bad idea for a unique Mother's Day gift too.

Or put together our rustic wood box

and fill it with some flowers to give mom.
