In 100+ weather, it's hard to think of Fall

but Stephanie's Apple Pie Cookies  are sure putting me in the mood
 for sweater weather

When our kids were little, 

we always had Friday Movie Nights.

We'd make homemade pizza and then

Orange Julius and popcorn for our movie. 

Jennifer's Minion Muddy Buddies would be so fun to eat

while watching Despicable Me.

Not to mention a great snack for a party. 

Or make some of our Monster Munch

for movie night or Halloween!

Welcome back to school.

This is the earliest we have started the school year 

and I think we are all wanting some more summer!

But it's time to get rolling with school supplies

and new books to read.

If you're a Harry Potter fan,

the DYI Party Mom has a  HP survival kit that would not only be great for a Harry Potter Party,

but would also be a fun way to get kids into reading.

For me, it's inspiring more ideas for other book series kits

or some goodie relating to a book that would get kids interested in reading. 

You could get creative with this idea....

a magnifying glass for Nancy Drew,

a cupcake for the Very Hungry Caterpillar

or a plastic spider ring for Charlotte's Web.

Fantastic Friday #240

We recently helped a daughter move into a new apartment.

Unfurnished- so she's been ordering a few things

 but checking out the local DI (like Goodwill) for pieces. 

Gloria's refurbished dresser has given us some good ideas.

What a transformation of an old piece of furniture!
