Funtastic Friday #311

I love hot chocolate in the winter.

One year my daughter and I had a fun time the weeks leading up to Christmas by

going around to various places tasting their hot chocolate.

Our top picks were Nestles mix from home, Corner Bakery and Duncan Donuts.

Kristy has the easy recipe to make your own hot chocolate mix.

We're going to whip up a batch of our own.

Another favorite on cold nights is our

Winter Wassail with cinnamon and spice goodness.

Time to curl up and view another week of Funtastic Friday!

Funtastic Friday #307

 Bring on Christmas!

Is that how you are feeling too?

With the year we've had, we need a little Christmas spirit.

It seems like a lot of you feel the same way too.

Christmas items are selling out at the stores already!

And holiday decor is being set up at home early this year.

How about a little holiday crafting...

Denise has created these fun burlap trees

So creative, love those little trees!

And you can also make our Christmas banner.

It's printable!

A great addition to your holiday decor and

easy to mail out to family and friends to get them into the holiday mood.

Especially great to add to a care package for someone you know

who is mostly home bound because of the Pandemic.

It's that time again...

for Funtstic Friday!

Funtastic Friday #306

 Let's talk turkey...

well, let's talk getting ready for Thanksgiving.

Are you doing something special for your table?

With all the craziness these days

and the uncertainty of who will even be able to come to Thanksgiving dinner,

we've got to make it special no matter who is there.

Stacy has a DIY project to make wood chargers for your table.

I just love how she burned wording on the boards.

Super cool and gives a modern/classic look.

Our wood cookie place cards would fit right in on that table.

Time to check out all your Thanksgiving ideas....

On this week's Funtastic Friday Link Party!

Handmade Ornament Ideas

At our annual girls craft party each year,
you can be sure the girls will be making an ornament as part of the festivities.
And, all the grandkids in our family make an ornament for
Grandma and Grandpa each year until they graduate from high school.
Grandma puts up a special tree or garland for all these grandkid ornaments.

We're always on the look out for new ideas.
We're rounding up some DIY ornaments for your next party or gift to give.
