Add a SPOOKY banner to your Halloween decor.
You'll need:
3 pieces of black card stock
3 pieces of scrapbook paper
(go with all one color/design of paper like I did or chose 2 colors to alternate)
1 package of 1/4" double fold bias tape
sewing machine, Elmer's glue
Print out your SPOOKY letters on the scrapbook paper.
If alternating colors, put your paper in the printer alternating, it is set up to print this way.
Page 1 print on regular copy paper. This has your pattern for the card stock.
Print pages 2-4 on scrapbook paper.
Use the card stock pattern to cut 6 rectangles out of your black.
Cut out all your letter flags.
Take some craft scissors or pinking shears with a zig-zag edge and cut along the bottom of each flag to give that jagged look.
Glue the letters on top of the black pieces matching top edges.
Put your flags in the order you will be sewing them.
Measure in 13" on your bias tape and insert the "S".
Back stitch and sew right down the middle of the bias tape.
Insert the next flag about 1/4" from the last.
Back stitch at the end.
Measure another 13" and cut.
You've got it!
Things are getting a little SPOOKY around here.
