Washi Tape Turkey

Here's a cute take on the traditional turkey craft - a washi tape turkey! I fell in love with this craft last year and have been wanting to make one ever since. Not only are these turkeys super cute, but they make for a great kid's craft and can be used at children's place settings for Thanksgiving dinner. Perfect!

You'll need clothespins, a variety of washi tapes, googly eyes, red felt, yellow felt, a pine cone, and a glue gun. First, with your glue gun, glue your turkey's googly eyes in place on the pine cone. Next, with the felt, cut out your turkey's beak and snood and glue them on. While the face cools, cover both sides of your clothespins with washi tape. I wanted to use a couple of washi tape patterns and colors to add variety to my turkey's feathers. Finally, clip your clothespins in the pine cone. And, you're done! I loved how this little turkey turned out and can't wait to make them with my children. Gobble, gobble!
