Stable Ornament

Here is a simple ornament the kids can make
reminding them of the "reason for the season".
You just need:
7 mini popsicle sticks
(these are the cutest, 2 1/2" long sticks!)
string
manger sticker
wood star
strong glue
(I'm using E6000)
glue gun

First, glue 4 sticks to one horizontal stick at shown below.
I put some of the E600 on a plate and had the kids use tooth picks as their "tools" to apply the glue on the sticks.

Then add your roof sticks.

Last the star.
Let it sit and dry for awhile.
Go frost a couple Christmas cookies and then come back ;)

Hot glue a string on the back.
This can be the finished ornament or you could have the kids paint it
or add a little babe in the manger sticker or vinyl cut out (that's what we did)
This simple ornament is great for all ages.

"O' Holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth."
