Here's a fun kids' craft - perfect for these cold, snowy months. Using Q tips, your child can design and create their very own snowflake.
You'll need Q tips, card stock, glue (Elmer's glue is great for this project.), a hole punch, and ribbon.
First, design your snowflake. You can break your Q tips into various sizes to give your snowflake a more intricate design. My kids really enjoyed figuring our their designs and patterns.
Once your snowflake is mapped out, begin gluing your Q tips onto the card stock.
After everything is dried, cut around your snowflake. Be sure to leave some extra space at the top to punch your hole.
Add ribbon and hang. What a great way to decorate for these winter months!
