Furniture Make-Overs and Funtastic Friday #114

Welcome back to Funtastic Friday!

Last week we were inspired by your furniture make-overs!

IKEA Moppe Hack Apothecary Cabinet

Our host pick is this amazing Ikea hack by the Interior Fugalista, creating this charming cabinet

balayage furniture, balayage furniture technique, balayage painting technique, rustic media console

Thirty Eighth Street shows us how to use a balayage technique to transform this media console. I think I'm in love with this piece!

Before and after flea market chairs

These metal chairs get a face lift over at Just Measuring Up.
Look for an upcoming project with some metal chairs of my own!

Tri-colored table in living room, The Accidental Tricolored table - The Boondocks blog

Over at the Boondocks blog, this old table top is reworked into this beauty.
Love the wood grain top and painted legs.

French Blue Dresser Makeover | blesserhouse.com - An orange wood thrifted dresser gets a French blue makeover using Fusion Mineral Paint in Champness and Homestead House Wax in Espresso.

We finally have to mention this Freanch blue dresser make-over from Bless'er House.
What a beauty!

Can't wait to see what you have for us this week!

  4. It's amazing how you can give a storage cabinet of chest of drawers a new lease of life just by treating the wood or adding on some embellishments. Considering how people are always looking for unique furniture these days, this is a simple and cheap solution to getting something special for your home!
