Citrus Morning Rolls


These rolls are the perfect balance of sweet and savory and are great to make for brunch.  Enjoy!

Citrus Morning Rolls


1 Egg at room temperature
1 Cup Water, warm 
1/4 Cup Butter
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Salt
3 1/2 Cup Bread Flour
1 1/2 tsp. Yeast

Topping:  
1/2 Cup Melted Butter
2 Tbsp. Orange peel shaved
1/2 Cup Sugar

Place all ingredients in order into bread machine.  Set your machine to a dough setting and start.  Once dough is ready, cut dough into 2 inch size balls and roll each ball out into long logs.  Wind up each log in a circle and place on a baking sheet to rise in a warm and dry place for about 30 minutes or until double its size.  Once risen, mix your topping and "paint" on each roll with a pastry brush.  Bake at 350 for about 20-30 minutes.  Delicious served warm!  Makes about one dozen.
