New Year Tinsel Banner and Toppers

We're welcoming in the New Year with
this easy year tinsel banner.

Hit your favorite stores after Christmas clearance and pick up some tinsel garland.

Print off the numbers template here:

Make sure to print on card stock to give the numbers more support.
Cut out the numbers, it doesn't have to be perfect.
Hot glue the tinsel garland right on top.

Choose some ribbon and hot glue it to the numbers along the back.
I found some of this braided silver cording with the same discount sale!
Your banner is done!

It looks sweet!

I had a few empty picture frames to use for the display
and taped the banner ribbon around them for hanging.

That tinsel really adds some sparkle
and makes a punch for the new year.
Loving this banner that is ready to print and make up for any new year!

We had some extra tinsel
and used it for cupcake toppers!

We're using a larger sized toothpick.
Hot glue around the top
and fold over a little piece of tinsel,
pressing in place and fluff out the strands.

Perfect.
They look like little firecrackers!

Ready to ring in the new year with the teen and tweens that will be coming over.
Happy 2017 or 2022 or whatever new year you're celebrating right now!

  3. How fun! I don't decorate at all for New Year's. I really should. I am never awake at midnight, so I guess it doesn't feel like there is a point to it. lol
