Autumn Welcome Board

 Welcoming in the Fall season

with a re-fresh to our front door area.

Word boards by your front door are still a popular way to welcome in each new season.

Our Autum Welcome board is just the right added touch for this front door re-fresh for Fall.

I'm using a 12" x 4' piece of pine.
Use a small can of your favorite white satin paint with primer
and paint one side of the board.

(I usually will stain the sides and put another holiday on the back
so, it's reversible and saves space with storage)

With a vinyl cutter, cut your Autumn in a block font and Welcome in script on stencil vinyl.
I use {this} stencil vinyl.
If you don't have access to cut a vinyl stencil,
find pre-cut stenciled letters online or at your local craft store like we did for our Pumpkins Board.

I used a foam roller to apply the paint with the stencil.

I'm using this beautiful copper craft paint.
Give it a couple coats.
Remove your stencil and whala!

You've got your beautiful Autumn Welcome!

Add some potted mums on your front porch.
I lucked out and found these full, beautiful potted mums
at my neighborhood Walmart for $12 each!

Our faux wheat wreath came from {here}.
The faux wheat is plastic which I love for durability outdoors
and it looks so real!

Our door mat can be found {here}.
Love the weave design.

The cute scarecrow I made years ago with a friend.
It's cut out of pine, painted and embellishments added.
We attached a dowel at the bottom so it can be easily pushed into the pot.

I spy our little pup!
She approves!
Welcome Autumn!
