Photo Ornaments

Years ago our mom started putting up a little tree just for grandkids'  ornaments.
Every year the grandchildren hand make an ornament for the tree.
It always has the year and either their name or picture on it.
We're making these cute and very easy ball ornaments this year.

I found these clear ball ornaments that look like glass but are plastic.
Love this because we've already dropped them twice--and no breakage.

Print off your pictures on {clear printable vellum}.
I could fit 4 pictures on one sheet.
Cut a paper templet out measuring 2 3/4" x 2 3/4".
Use it to trace and cut a square of your photo.

Just roll up the photo and put in the ornament.
It will fold open inside the ball.

Cut 3-5 pieces of ribbon, each 4" long.
Tie them once around the loop at the top of the ornament.

Attach a little Christmas label by tying on with bakers twine.

Just add an ornament hook.

Grandma and Grandpa will love these!
