Teen Girl Birthday Party

My daughter turned "fantastic 15"!
She chose pink, gold and white for party colors.

We made these painted mason jars for the table center piece.

Our tissue tassel banner brought some fun to the space.

Friends came over after school for an oriental dinner.
Her menu:  rice, homemade egg rolls, fruit and fortune cookies.
As the girls ate, they were totally surprised by the appearance of a friend who had moved, but came back in town for the weekend.
Imagine shrieks, squeals and hugs of delight!

The high school was sponsoring a 5K "glow in the dark" run that night.
We incorporated it into the party.
Most of the girls run and dance, so they liked the 5K idea and donned their Glow t-shirts.
Afterwards, it was back to the house for some cake, snacks, hot tubbing, singing, talking,  Instagramming and sleeping over.

Mini cheese cakes for the birthday cake.

We left this snack table up all night with mason jars full of fortune cookies, kisses, red licorice and pink party bowls with pretzels, Chex Mix, and Muddy Buddies.  Of course some extra mini cheese cakes too.

Party favors were our glow blocks.
It fit our theme and can remind them to "glow"-- let that light they have shine!

We had the blocks out as part of our table decorations.
Happy Birthday!
