Aren't we all mothers?

"Motherhood is more than bearing children...
It is the essence of who we are as women."
Shari Dew

Mothering has multiple layers and meaning.  We are old and young, experienced and learning, single and married, with many children, just a few or none at all.  We are sisters, aunts, cousins, grandmas, and friends.
But as women, we are all mothers.
All women have have that natural nurturing instinct. You care for, influence and teach all those around you. Your love, leadership, guidance, protection, knowledge, and kindness makes a vital difference.
Keep doing the good that you do.
Nurture those you have contact with as you volunteer at a school, while teaching a class at church, as you spend time with a niece, nephew or grandchild, as you babysit for a friend, as you drive in the car with your kids, when you have a quiet moment with someone you love --because that is who you are, a mother.
