Meatballs and Crock-pot Marinara Sauce


Meatballs
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
1/4 cup Kraft Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 Tbsp dried onion flakes

Mix all ingredients.  Form into 2" meatballs.  Brown the outside of the balls in a saucepan.


Meanwhile, in your crock-pot, add these ingredients for the sauce:
2 16oz. cans crushed tomatoes, puree these in a blender and then add
2 8oz. cans tomato sauce
2 Tbsp Italian seasoning
3 cloves of garlic, pressed
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
Mix together in the crock-pot.  Add your meatballs.  Cook on high for 4 hours.


Cook up your pasta and pour your sauce and meatballs over to serve.  
You can use this meatball recipe for Carrie's {Valentines Day Dinner}.  Just cook the sauce by itself then mix and bake the meatballs as directed in her post.
